Once you have downloaded and unzipped your Action, place your Action in a common folder. Once you have established that folder, open Photoshop, open the Action palette, click the small triangle in the upper right hand corner to access the fly-out menu, then choose LOAD ACTIONS. Using the file dialogue, navigate to wherever you have placed your Actions. Click the "Load" button in the file dialogue, and your Actions will appear at the bottom of the Actions Palette. You can also drag and drop Actions onto the Actions Palette in Photoshop. For most Actions, it is best to start with a flattened RGB 8-bit image.

Mike Warren (MikeDubU) > MW Dragan Effect Action enhances the image by muting the colors while adding a low contrast tri-tone color cast, giving the image a dark moody look. This look is similar to work by Andrzej Dragan, Jim Fiscus or Dave Hill and is also known as the Grunge or Urban look. The Action comes with three different versions to give you more control of the outcome, based on the contrast of the the original image. This image shows the original image, the image after running the Action and the image after flattening, burning and sharpening. 

Actions are compatible with U.S. Photoshop PS7, CS, CS2, CS3 and CS4.
